Quality Management and Chinese Companies in Macau

摘要

海外華人管理體系包含一套與某些基本質量管理原則背道而馳的價值觀，儘管其正在經歷變革的過程，但在澳門，變革的程度遠非使這兩個體系協調一致。通過進行探索性研究，作者打算對該主題的討論做出一些創新性的貢獻。隨着海外華人越來越成為在澳門經營的公司中的主要群體，這次討論也與質量管理在未來澳門的作用密切相關。

The Overseas Chinese Management System contains a set of values contrary to some basic Quality Management principles, and although it is undergoing a process of change, in Macau the degree of change is far from putting the two systems in consonance. By performing an exploratory study, the author intends to give a first contribution to the discussion of this subject. With the Overseas Chinese being the majority of the companies operating in Macau, this discussion is closely linked to the role of Quality Management in the future of the territory.
