摘要

This paper, with a focus on language attitudes of Macao tertiary students, highlights the local-national-global tensions in postcolonial societies and contributes to the understanding of language attitudes therein after the Handover. It posits that Macao people’s language attitudes can be revealed by the push and pull between decolonisation, renationalisation, and globalisation.
