Machine Translation and current Research in Macau LI YI PING (FACULTY OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY,UNIVERSITY OF MACAU)
A growing number of machine translation (MT) systems has been used or developing by governments, businesses and industries around the world. It is imperative for Macau to develop a Portuguese-English-Chinese multilingual machine-translation system. An international co-operation with MT research groups from Portugal and China has been proposed.
